Using node.js to run a simple web server

You can use Connect and ServeStatic with Node.js for this:

1. Install connect and serve-static with NPM
   $ npm install connect serve-static
2. Create server.js file with this content:
   var connect = require('connect');
   var serveStatic = require('serve-static');
   connect().use(serveStatic(__dirname)).listen(8080);
3. Run with Node.js
   $ node server.js

You can now go to http://localhost:8080/yourfile.html
